Biography
劉暢（Luna Chang Liu）是新媒體藝術家與研究者，現任香港樹仁大學應用數據科學學系助理教授。她畢業於香港城市大學創意媒體學院，獲創意媒體藝術碩士及藝術科技博士學位。她長期從事 AR／VR／MR 藝術創作與研究，並將沉浸式敘事、互動遊戲、雕塑與療癒性框架結合，探討個體創傷如何與家庭、學校、親密關係、社會關係中的暴力交織，並轉化為可觀看、可觸碰、可參與的藝術體驗。她於2026年獲香港藝術發展局「新苗發展資助計劃」（Emerging Artists Development Grant）支持，曾獲德國 Stuttgarter Filmwinter Global Culture Award，並兩度入圍香港 ifva Awards。其作品曾於國際電影及媒體藝術節展出，研究論文亦發表於 ISMAR、ISEA 及《Immersive Media and User Experience》。她的創作穿梭於藝術、科技與心理療癒之間，將個人的創傷經驗轉化為關於家庭暴力、校園欺凌、精神健康與自我修复的公共討論，讓沉浸式媒體不只是觀看的工具，也成為理解痛苦、激發共情與促成反思的媒介。
Liu Chang (Luna Chang Liu) is a new media artist and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Data Science at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She graduated from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, where she received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media and a PhD in Art and Technology. Her long-term artistic practice and research focus on AR, VR, and MR. By bringing together immersive storytelling, interactive games, sculpture, and therapeutic frameworks, she explores how personal trauma becomes entangled with violence within family, school, intimate relationships, and social relationships, transforming these experiences into artistic encounters that can be seen, touched, and participated in. In 2026, she received support from the Emerging Artists Development Grant of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. She was awarded the Global Culture Award at Stuttgarter Filmwinter and was twice selected as a finalist at the Hong Kong ifva Awards. Her works have been exhibited at international film and media art festivals, and her research has been published at ISMAR, ISEA, and in Immersive Media and User Experience. Moving between art, technology, and psychological healing, her practice transforms personal experiences of trauma into public discussions on domestic violence, school bullying, mental health, and self-recovery. Through her work, immersive media becomes not only a tool for viewing, but also a medium for understanding pain, evoking empathy, and prompting reflection.
